Masterclass with Mykhailo Zakutskyi
We are proud to present this masterclass with Mykhailo Zakutskyi, sound recordist and sound designer of the film “The Days I Would Like to Forget”, a film in three chapters on the war in Ukraine. In this documentary, the directors Alina Gorlova, Yelizaveta Smith, Maksym Nakonechnyi and Simon Mozgovyi explore the ramifications of a society in war, showing the impact and presence of war on all levels of existence. Mykhailo Zakutskyi will talk about the challenges of recording sound while filming at the frontlines, shaping the sound during post-production in order to enhance the storytelling and the importance of collaboration. The Masterclass will take place at THE GRAND POST, Kaiserstraße 78, 1070 Vienna, Austria.
